Jeffrey Stubbs

Jeffrey L. Stubbs, 66, of York entered into The Lords Kingdom on May 7th, 2020 at his home in the presence of his wife, Deborah and granddaughter, Taylor. He was the husband of Deborah (Shaffer) Stubbs to whom he was married to for 46 years. He was the son of late Louis Stubbs and Jean (Klemm) Stubbs.

He was a graduate of York County Vocational Technical School in 1972. After graduating High School he joined the United State Air Force where he served for 8 years. He was employed at the County of York Courthouse and a member of the Shiloh Legion, post #0791. Jeffrey was a devoted member of Temple Baptist Church for over 20 years where he served as a deacon, sang on the church choir, taught the youth and was a Sunday school teacher. When they closed their doors he then became a member of Cornerstone Bible Church where he was an Elder and a Sunday school teacher until his passing.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife Deborah (Shaffer) Stubbs and their daughter Jennifer (Stubbs) Music; four grandchildren Taylor Stubbs, Emily Rowe, Mary-Jane and Kyle Music; two great grandchildren; 6 brothers Louis Stubbs, Terry Stubbs, Authar Stubbs, Michael Stubbs of York, George Stubbs of Canada and Paul Stubbs of Oklahoma; 5 sister Brenda (Stubbs) Bortner, Denise Stubbs of Littlestown, Bonita (Stubbs) Black of North Carolina, Sharon (Stubbs) Fuller of Colorado and the late Shirley (Stubbs) Long.

A celebration of life service will be held in Jeff's memory at a later date.
