Jill Elaine Janney

Jill Elaine Janney, age 71, of Dillsburg, PA, passed away May 23, 2025, at Claremont Nursing Home. Born September 22, 1953, in Harrisburg, PA, daughter of the late Chalmer Baker Jr. and Georgianna (Sipe) Baker.

Jill worked many years in the medical field before retiring to babysit her grandchildren. She spent over 20 years loving and raising yorkies. Jill had many talents and the biggest heart. She enjoyed square dancing, singing, shopping and phone conversations.

Surviving are: a son, Jared R Janney (Deb); a daughter, Kristin M Janney; 5 grandchildren, Dakota, Jake (Meghan), Neil, Chesney and Evan; 7 great grandchildren, Bentley, Berkley, Bowen, Caleb, Brystol, Bryar and Erica; and a sister, Jamesina Werner (Charles).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chalmer Baker Jr. and Georgianna (Sipe) Baker.

Per Jill's request, no services will be held. There are no words to express the loss of a mother, grandmother and sister who had the biggest heart.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the Harrisburg Humane Society.
