John G. Witmer

He was a retired truck driver with a lifetime of accident free miles and was a member of the Teamsters. John enjoyed hunting and his favorite times were spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, Elsie Willow Witmer; children, Annette Cassell, William G. Witmer, Judith Wise, and Brenda Walters; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; 3 brothers; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Edna Witmer; brother, William Witmer; and sister, Dorothy.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 11, 2016, 1:00 p.m., at Zimmerman-Auer Funeral Home, Inc., 4100 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Celtic Hospice, 900 Century Dr., Ste 201, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
