Joseph Richard Fox

Born in Harrisburg, PA on September 6, 1931 he was the son of John T. and Pearl (Nagle) Fox.

Joe retired from Quaker Oats Company with 26 years of service; a graduate of William Penn High School and a Korean War US Army Veteran and the American Legion. He enjoyed Harrisburg Senators baseball; a loving fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles, Flyers and Penn State. He loved the Lord and was a member of Aldersgate Church, Mechanicsburg.

He was predeceased by his first wife Evelyn (Peg) Fox and son Joseph R. Fox, Jr. He is survived by a son Michael (Valerie) Fox; grandsons Patrick (Cori) Fox; Christopher Fox; great-grandchildren Brenna and Braxton.

Joe is survived by his wife of 9 years, Iva L. (Leitzel) Fox; stepson Edward Fox; step- grandchildren Joshua Page, Jacob (Hannah) Snyder; Luke Snyder, Isaiah Snyder. He was predeceased by step-daughter Lisa Snyder; siblings Betty Fox, Vi Wren, Edna Mae Kreitzer, Joanne Kelly, John Fox, Jr. and Milton Fox.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 13 at 11 a.m. at Aldersgate Church, 1480 Jerusalem Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
