Kari A. Ricords

She was born August 4, 1992 at the Harrisburg Hospital to Barry L. Archibald and Kimberly A. Archibald (Kepler). She was the wife of Zachary A. Ricords, the devoted step-momma of Hayley (12), and momma of Eleonora Rose (7) and Herbert Milton V (5). Kari was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Donald L. Kepler and Roy J. Key and cousin, Allison M. Archibald, who was also her best friend. She is survived by her brother, Barry Dalton Archibald; her grandparents, Barbara Key (Pritchard/Kepler), Robert “Wade” Archibald and Janet C. Archibald (Rissinger); and her many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was a 2010 graduate of Central Dauphin High School, Harrisburg, PA.

Kari was wholeheartedly devoted to her family, especially her children. She loved God and was quick to help others at any given moment. She loved nature, laughter and having fun, being creative, singing, dancing and loving others. She was an encourager and had strength beyond her years. She will be missed by many.

Her last days were filled with the things that made her happy, her family and friends. Her hospital room was in constant motion of those coming to visit. She loved fiercely and that love was given back to her.

Kari continued to give to others with her final act of kindness with the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.

A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends on Good Friday, April 18, 2025 in the Community Building at Devonshire Church, 5630 Devonshire Road, Harrisburg, PA 17112. Service begins at 2 pm and gathering concludes at 6 pm.
