Kenneth Lewis Peiffer III

Kenneth L. Peiffer III, age 67, of Greencastle, PA went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 28, 2024 in his home. Born November 20, 1956, in Chambersburg, he was the son of Kenneth L. and Phyllis (Yohe) Peiffer, Jr.

He lived his early life in Chambersburg and was a graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School, Class of 1975. Mr. Peiffer worked in law enforcement all of his adult life. He worked for Franklin County Sheriff’s Office as the youngest Deputy Sheriff for the county. He also worked for the US Marshall’s Office in Louisiana, as a Police Officer for Greencastle and as a Licensed Private Detective in Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Greencastle Church of the Brethren.

Surviving family are his wife, Nancy (Schrader) Peiffer whom he married October 9, 2010 in Pen Mar, MD; three daughters, Stephanie Storts (Bryan), Danielle Holtry (Brandon), and Elissa Pilgrim (Gage) all of Chambersburg, PA; brother Bradley Peiffer (Lisa) of Chambersburg, PA; four grandsons and two granddaughters. Ken was looking forward to becoming a great-grandfather in November.

Memorial Services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greencastle Church of the Brethren, 36 S Carlisle Street, Greencastle, PA 17225.
