She was born January 23, 1921 in Hopewell, VA, daughter of the late George and Bertha (Craft) Ealy.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Marie Quesinberry of Gardners, and Kathy Swingler of Richlands, NC; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; ad 2 sisters, Evelyn Hoff of York, and Helen Yohe of Spring Grove.
In addition to her husband and parents, LaVerne was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
