

Lee was retired from the State Correctional Institution at Camp Hill. He was an officer of the Newberry Township Police Force in its first years and he was the Chief of Police in Goldsboro for some time. His interests included raising cattle, hunting, repairing small engines and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Lee was a member of PARSE and the West Shore Sportsmen's Association.
He was born June 24, 1934 in Carlisle to Raymond H. and Esther H. Miller. His previous wife, Viola J. Miller died in July 1974. He is survived by his wife, Shirley H. Miller, his sister, Erma Tomcheck and the following children and step-children: Lee E. Miller, Jr., Roger A. Miller, Diane A. Wolgemuth, Charles D. Myers, Evonne L. Hyman, Christine E. Wertz, Cynthia R. Dagold, Eric B. Kessel, Valjoy L. Galli and Lynne E. Wells. He has 39 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 7, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at Auer Cremation Services of Pennsylvania, Inc., 4100 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109 with the Rev. Ronald Burgard officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00a.m.
