
Born May 1, 1920, he was son of the late Floyd and Lillian (Menke) Gotham.
He was proud to have served his country during WWII.
Whitey loved his church, Bethany Church of the Nazarene, where he was a member. He retired as a parts manager from the former Martin Motors and had previously worked in maintenance for Central Dauphin Schools. In addition, he enjoyed playing the guitar and mouth organ and was a family man.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Donna M. Schroy (Richard) of Millersburg, Daryl D. Johnson (Raymond) of Merrimack, NH, and Lillian M. Crawford of Enola; a brother, William Gotham; 2 sisters, Lillian Fasick and Mary Wendt; 7 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Monday, November 5, 2012, 1:00 p.m., at Bethany Church of the Nazarene, 1605 Parkway West, Harrisburg, PA, 17112. Viewing will be from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his church at the above address.
