Linda Lou Varner

Born in Ravine on October 23, 1947, she was the daughter of Ernest Wagner Sr. and Mabel(Lymaster) Wagner. She attended Pine Grove High School and worked many years as a nursing assistant at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Linda was also an active member in the AMVETS and American Legion Ladies Auxiliaries.

In addition to her spouse, she is survived by a daughter Lori Daubert(Michael), son Joseph Schaeffer Jr., stepsons Shane and John Varner. Grandchildren Ashley Stanchick(Tony), Kelsey Mair(Ryan), Kaleb Daubert(Natalie) and Brooklyn Varner. Great grandchildren Dimitri and Takoda Stanchick and baby Daubert due in December. Brothers Ernest Wagner Jr.(Judy) and Robert Wagner(Cindy), sister in laws, Mary and Barb Zimmerman and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Also her beloved beagle, Maggie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, spouses Joseph Schaeffer Sr. And Francis Swalm, brothers Elvin and Frank Zimmerman and Harvey Christ.

Internment will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 10:00 AM.
