Luther Edward "Mac" McClellan, aged 94 years, passed away peacefully in his home on
March 13, 2025. Born in Lewistown, Pennsylvania to the late Luther T. and Mabel (Weller)
McClellan. Mac was a proud graduate of Penn State and served honorably in the United
States Air Force. He retired from Capitol Products as a Plant Manager after a long and
successful career.
Mac was an avid golfer and world traveler, passions that he pursued throughout his life. He
was a loving partner, father and grandfather, cherished by his family and friends. He was
preceded in death by his parents, his brother Robert, his sister Sally and his brother-in-law
Gus Hess.
Mac is survived by his loving partner of 32 years, Stephania Liebel, his children, son Mark
McClellan and daughter Kimbra Maxwell (Rox), and his grandchildren, Nicholas Kurtz,
Allison Post, Ian McClellan (Yumi) and Amy Leham (Robert) and great grandchildren,
Cooper, Addie, Mia, Aubree and Brynlee. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and
loved him.
