Marian V. Boaman

Marian V. (Ulrich) Boaman, 79 , Cumru Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday December, 9 2009. Marian was predeceased by her husband of 42 years Leon M Boaman and her friend and companion John Henne who passed away July 3rd 1999. Born in Angelica on Sept 12th 1930, she was the daughter of the late William and Eva(Hoch) Ulrich.

She worked in the insurance industry for over 40 years, retiring from CNA in 1992.

Her giving sprit and kind heart touched many lives but none more then her nephew David W. Ulrich, husband of Dory Ulrich and her two nieces Karen L. DeLair, wife of Jeffrey DeLair and Kay L. Ulrich, to all of whom she was more like a mother than an aunt.

She instilled a great sense of tradition and was especially close to her three great nephews Justin M. Good, Ian M. Good husband of Kristin Good, and Nathan S. Good. Marian is survived by her two brothers Harold Ulrich, husband of the late Gloria Ulrich, Mohnton and Richard L. Ulrich, husband of Linda Ulrich, Green Hills and her sister Betty (Ulrich) Kohl, wife of Oliver Kohl, Birdsboro. Other survivors include three nephews Jay Kohl, husband of Karen Kohl, Mohnton, Randy Ulrich husband of Pam Ulrich, Angelica, and John Mauer, Mohnton. A niece Jennifer Mauer, Oley and a stepson Greg Bandemer, husband of Charlotte Bandemer, Exeter. Marian is also survived by 10 great nieces and nephews, 8 great great nieces and nephews, 1 step granddaughter and 2 step great grandchildren.

Marian was a member of Allegheny Lutheran Church and the Community Senior Citizens Trust.

She enjoyed crossword puzzles and cryptograms and loved collecting salt and pepper shakers. Mostly she dedicated her life to loving and caring for her family.

Marian was predeceased by her brother William Ulrich, his wife Evelyn Ulrich and their son Lonnie Ulrich.
