Marianne McCann

Born July 17th 1931, in Harrisburg, PA daughter of Charles Edward Eisenacher Sr and Anna Mae Eisenacher.

Marianne graduated from William Penn High School, Class of 1949. She is a life member of Rescue Fire Company Susquehanna Township, and a former American Red Cross Disaster Volunteer. She retired as a secretary for the Commonwealth of PA Department of Labor.

She was an extremely talented seamstress and enjoyed scrapbooking and card-making in her spare time, as well as watching old Western movies. She was a devoted member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and assisted in making those delicious chocolate peanut butter Easter eggs each year.

Marianne was the heart of her family. It brought her great joy to spend time with her loved ones. In the warmer months, you could find her at the family cottage in Dauphin, PA. In the winter she gathered her grandchildren to join her in her tradition of baking sand tarts each year for Christmas.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth McCann Jr and Kimberly Ross; grandchildren, Robert McCann and Alyssa Smith; great grandchildren, Brayden McCann, Max McCann, and Cole Smith; sister-in-law, Ardella Eisenacher, and several nieces, nephews and their respective families.

She was preceded in death by her father Charles Edward Eisenacher Sr of Harrisburg, PA, mother Anna Mae Eisenacher of Harrisburg, PA, brother Charles E Eisenacher Jr of Harrisburg, PA, brother Lester H Eisenacher of Mifflintown, PA, brother Ronald L Eisenacher of Harrisburg, PA, and sister Blanche L Snyder of Harrisburg, PA.

A private memorial service for immediate family will be held Tuesday January 28th at Zimmerman-Auer Funeral Home. Her celebration of life will be held on Saturday February 1st at 1pm at Progress Fire Company Station 32: 3440 Maple St, Harrisburg, PA 17109.
