Marjorie L Neff

Name: Marjorie L. Neff, age 95 of York, PA passed away May 20, 2025 at Autumn House West. Born October 18, 1929 in Galeton, PA, daughter of Samuel and Myra Genevieve Kennedy. Marjorie married her husband, William (Bill) Neff on December 16, 1962. He pre-deceased her on May 29, 2006, after 43 years of marriage.

Earlier in life, Marjorie worked for a telephone company in Galeton, PA and later as a seamstress at Curtain Call in East Prospect, PA. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in York, PA. Marjorie loved to read, enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren, great grandchildren and grand puppies were her pride and joy. She was known for her easy going and kind-hearted nature. To know her was to love her.

Children: Sandy Vogelsong and her husband, Jim; Lisa Springer and her husband, Stuart; son-in-law, Steven Atkins

Grandchildren: Austin Vogelsong and his wife, Jenell; Kayla Knaub and her husband, Colin; Celine Wilbert and her husband, Wyatt; Caitlin Springer; Steven Atkins Jr.

Great Grandchildren: Carson Knaub; Olivia Vogelsong

Sister: Linda Kreisler and her husband, Gary

Several nieces, nephews and a host of caring friends including her caregivers at Autumn House West

She was preceded in death by:

Step-Daughter: Patrice Atkins

Sister: Julia Evans

There will be no memorial service per Marjorie’s wishes.
