Mary Ann Trone

Mary Ann graduated from Indiana Senior High School in the class of 1946 and from Indiana University in the class of 1950 with a BS in elementary education. She taught in Beaver Falls, PA, and was a substitute teacher in West Chester, PA, and in Lancaster, PA. She also became CEO of Mary Ann Trone Real Estate in West Chester, PA.

Residing in West Chester, Mary Ann was a Girl Scout leader and a member of the Chester County Council of Girl Scouts, the New Century Club, the United Church Women, and Chester County Board of Realtors.

While residing at Willow Valley, she volunteered at Carter and MacRae school for 20 years and enjoyed duplicate bridge, swimming, knitting, and visiting “shut-ins”.

Mary Ann is survived by her daughters Teresa Friedrichsen and Ruth Wolf and son Donald Burnell Trone, Jr., 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at St. James Episcopal Church at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2025. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Team Members Education Fund, 100 Willow Valley Lake Drive, Willow Street, PA 17584.
