Mary Jane Montgomery

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jonas D. Montgomery, two brothers, Robert Mailey and Charles Mailey, seven sisters, Mildred Mailey, Dorothy Kohl, Verna Mailey, Jeannette Eby, Charlotte Harlacker, Eleanor Hurst, and Peggy Senior.

Mrs. Montgomery, known to her friends and family as 'Jane', was a 1935 graduate of New Cumberland High School; retired from the PA State Dept. of Public Welfare; and was a long time member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Shiremanstown.

She is survived by a devoted daughter, Dr. Jean E. Jones, with whom she had been living since May 2012, her grandchildren, Kevin Jones and Michelle Tsou, great grandson, Nicholas Tsou, and her only surviving sibling, Betty Peffer of Mechanicsburg.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 9 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Shiremanstown, with Rev. Seifried officiating. Following the service, interment will take place at Rolling Green Cemetery.
