She was born September 3, 1920 in Davis, WV, the daughter of George and Virginia Riley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry M. Smith, Sr. and 2 daughters, Christina Gill and Deborah Wunderlich.
Surviving are her son, Harry M. Smith, Jr. of New Oxford; 2 grandsons, Kelly Smith of Westminster, MD and Jeffery Smith of Taneytown, MD; and 3 granddaughters, Tina Fringer of Wilkes Barre, Mia Lambert of Rushton, FL, and Shannon Calp of Shrewsbury.
Mildred enjoyed sewing, gardening, and cooking.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 11 am at the Gettysburg Center Nursing Home, 867 York Rd, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
