Noreen M. Pucher

Noreen M. Pucher, 66 of 57 Melvin Drive, Leola, PA, died peacefully at home on January 21, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer. She and husband, Richard, celebrated forty-seven years of marriage in September 2011. Noreen was born in Hazleton, Pa, a daughter of the late William R. and Nora Harrington Reytar.

Noreen loved time with her grandchildren, vacationing, reading, playing casino slots and had a general love of all animals. During her adult life, she held jobs at H&R Block, Bird-in-Hand Gift Shop, Lancaster Farm Bureau, U.S. Department of Water Conservation, QVC Outlet and retired from Pennsylvania Department of Welfare. Her love of animals large and small involved supporting Best Friends Animal Society, Lancaster Humane League, Front Range Equine Rescue, Affenpinscher Rescue and the Mount Hope Horse Rescue.

Surviving besides her husband, Richard and three loving dogs Shadow, Tinker, and Chloe are two siblings: a sister, Adele Wells of Bridgewater, NJ and brother William Reytar of Laurel, MD; two children: son Shawn R. of San Diego, CA and daughter, Michele N. Irwin of Columbia, PA and three grandchildren: Kevin R. Stoll, Dahra K. Pucher and Paige Pucher.
