Mrs. Patricia Ann ‘Snooks’ Eagan (nee Novasecku), age 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 27, 2025, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Born on December 23, 1936, in Steelton, Pennsylvania, Patricia lived a full and spirited life marked by love, laughter, and an unforgettable presence.
Patricia was preceded in death by beloved husband, James R. Eagan, with whom she shared a deep enduring bond. Their reunion this past Sunday was surely a celebration in the heavens. She was also preceded in death by her great-granddaughter Raven Rusinko.
She is survived by Kathleen Baker, Linda Sue Lucas, Jeffrey Baker and Lora Baker. Her legacy continues through her large and loving family: ten grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and fourteen great-great-grandchildren.
Known affectionately as ‘Snooks’, Patricia was truly one of a kind-a pistol whose sharp wit and unfiltered honesty left no one guessing where she stood. Her sarcasm was legendary and her laughter infectious; she never took herself too seriously and brought joy to those around her with her humor and candor.
Patricia loved deeply and gave freely of herself to those she cared about. If you needed something-anything-all you had to do was ask. Her generosity knew no bounds when it came to family and friends.
Though she once moved to Florida with James, her heart remained tethered to the family she cherished so dearly. Her only regret about that move was that the rest of the family couldn’t come along for the ride.
Her absence leaves a profound void in the lives of those who knew her best. Yet even in grief, there is comfort in remembering the strength of her spirit and the warmth of her love.
May her memory bring comfort to all who were fortunate enough to know her-and may we carry forward the laughter she so freely shared.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at St. Catherine’s Laboure Church 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg at 9:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM.
