Patricia B. Stiles

Patricia B Stiles(88),of New Oxford, PA, went to heaven to be with her Savior on February 8, 2025. Pat was born on January 16, 1937 in Frederick, MD to Richard and Helen Bruchey. Pat had 4 siblings; older brother, Dickey, younger brothers, Jim and David, and younger sister, Kathy. She graduated from Frederick High School. Pat married Howard Stiles on September 19, 1957 and had three children.

Pat was a city girl who became a farm girl. Pat and Howard lived and farmed on several different dairy farms in Maryland and Pennsylvania. They helped their children participate in many experiences through 4-H in Carroll County Maryland. Pat enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing, crocheting and watching her children show their cows at local and state fairs.

Pat worked at Thoman’s Wallpaper in Hanover, PA, JC Penney in PA and FL, and for Sprint in FL and KS. In 2015. Pat and Howard moved to Cross Keys Village in New Oxford, PA. Pat had a green thumb and made the cottage they lived in beautiful with the many flowers she planted. She enjoyed staying in contact with her family via FaceTime.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Helen, in- laws, John T. and Charlotte Stiles, brothers, Dickey and David, sister-in-law, Priscilla Stiles, brother-in-law, Billy Jackson, and nephew, Michael Heath. She is survived by husband, J. Howard Stiles, son, John Stiles of Mount Hope, WV(Aimee), daughter, Becky Van Beveren of Chesapeake, VA (Scott), daughter, Anne Kenagy of Raymore, MO (John), Brother, Jim Bruchey (Becky), sister, Kathy B Jackson, brother-in-laws, Clifford, Wayne and Allen (Kay), sister-in-laws, Charlotte, Betty Ann (Billy), and Susan Bruchey Hamalainen. Pat was blessed to have 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter, many cousins, nephews and nieces. Pat was also blessed with many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
