

Paul was born on January 17, 1942 in Washington DC. He was the son of Carl F. Meyers and Paula M. Hardy, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Caroline "Sue", they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 17, 2014. Daughters, Susan Dellinger and husband Dan and grandson Nathan, of Fairfield PA; and Paula Davidson and companion Erric Bowman, of Emigsville PA. He is also survived by his two sisters, Mildred "Millie" Sampson and Judith "Judy" Taylor, both of Gettysburg PA.
Paul served in the United States Air Force from 1959 to 1962. After his service, he took up the trade as an electrician. He was a Master Electrician licensed in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia for over 50 years. He retired from the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority; Dulles Airport in 2005. He enjoyed hunting and travelling. Paul and Sue loved the great outdoors and took their RV to all 48 Continental United States and Alaska.
A celebration of life will be held on June 1, 2014 at 1:00pm at the Lake Heritage Club House Community Center, 1000 Heritage Drive, Gettysburg PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in his memory to the Lutheran Home Care and Hospice, Inc., 260 West High Street, Gettysburg PA 17325.
