Born in Philipsburg on May 18, 1931, Peggy was the daughter of Robert and Mary (Daley) Kay. She married Henry Scottson on June 6, 1953. He preceded her in death in June of 2021.
She retired from the Geisinger Medical Center in Philipsburg.
She is survived by two children, Susan (Gary) Broberg and Scott A. Scottson;two grandsons, Garrett and Gene (Tara) Broberg; and four great grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Nancy Knecht of Tyrone, PA.
Preceding her in death were two brothers, Richard and William Kay; and two sisters, Mary Helen Connors and Dorothy Perks.
According to her wishes there will be no service or visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Cremation and Burial Society of Pennsylvania, and internment will be at National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with her husband.
