

Coming to America in 1948 with a husband, two small children, and one on the way, was a challenge. She attended night school to learn the English language and was proud to become an American citizen. She was naturally nurturing and remained a stay-at-home Mom to her five children. Her strong Italian values built a solid foundation for her family, whom she loved very much. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing and her flower garden.
She was the daughter of the late Biagio and Maria (Discini) Moscardini.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Louis M.A. Puliti as well as 6 brothers and 4 sisters.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was known as Nonni to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Giovanna Straw of Harrisburg, Florence (Mark) Case of Camp Hill, Rosalie Bird of Mechanicsburg; 2 sons, Marco Puliti of Harrisburg and Dominic (Patti) Puliti of Camp Hill; 9 grandchildren, Zachary Straw of Halifax, Brandilyn Straw of Harrisburg, Gina (Kevin) Baker of Mechanicsburg, Marisa (Tom) Santanna of Harrisburg, Matt (Jodie) Case of Enola, Christopher (Toyah) Case of Texas, Lea Puliti of Maryland, Andrea Puliti of New Jersey, and Jessica Puliti of New York; 6 great-grandchildren, Ramsea and Ayden Case of Texas, Tyler and Jordan Case of Enola, and Stella and Mira Baker of Mechanicsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, January 23, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 6150 Allentown Boulevard, Harrisburg, PA 17112 with the Very Rev. Edward J. Quinlan officiating. Viewing will be from 10-11:00 a.m. at the Church. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery will follow Mass.
