Richard M. Goldstein

RICHARD M. GOLDSTEIN, age 72 of Dingmans Ferry, PA passed on Thursday, January 11th after battling a long illness. Richard was born July 29th, 1946 in Manhattan, NY, the son of the late Charles and Muriel Goldstein. He served in the Army, Army Reserves, Army National Guard, Stewart 105th Air Wing in Newburgh, NY and also had a short stay in the Navy. As a disabled veteran, he was a lifetime member of the DAV, American Legion, Sons of the American Legion #851 in Dingmans Ferry, Lions Club, Monroe Lakes Region Lodge Knights of Pythias, and the Wallkill Vol. Fire Dept. of Middletown, NY, Council 82. He was a TA at Mid-Hudson Psych Center in New Hampton, NY. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sherryle Goldstein. He was a beloved husband, father to Mary Strzalka and Barbara Wickert, grandfather of Abagail Druttman, Jayden and Dillon Strzalka, and Joel Wickert. He was also a beloved brother to sister Judith Swiss of Mastic Beach, L.I., and sister-in-laws Debroah Lybarger and Frankie Goldstein. Richard was a beloved grandpa to Alizha and Gabrielle Lybarger, granddaughters of Debroah.

A service is planned at the American Legion in Dingmans Ferry, PA during the Spring, but no other services will be held at this time.
