Richard Cale Mellott

Richard “Cale” Mellott, 59, of Mercersburg, PA, passed away January 12, 2018, at Falling Springs Nursing Home. Born August 10, 1958, in Chambersburg Hospital, he was son of the late Dick and Betty Mellott.

He worked on a farm for 30+ years, enjoyed hanging with friends, listening to music, and riding his mowers.

Surviving are a brother, Robert “Bob” Mellot of Greencastle; two sisters, Linda Munday of Warfordsburg, PA and Lori Filer of Greencastle, PA; a half-brother, Sam Cordell of Waynesboro, PA; a half-sister, Betty Lynch of Needmore, PA; 14 nieces and nephews; and 24 great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Rose Beaver; a brother, Kenny Mellott; a great niece, Gabriella Mills; and a nephew, John Lynch.

A service will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018, 12-4 p.m., at Two Top Ruritan Club, 12270 Two Top Road, Mercersburg, PA 17236.
