Robert L. Helm, Jr., 81, of Hanover, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at Cross Keys Village, The Brethren Home, New Oxford. Born June 3, 1936, in Lancaster, he was son of the late Robert Helm, Sr. and Gladys Hake Helm.
Mr. Helm was a U.S. Army veteran having served his country in Germany.
Robert was a graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School.
He was a proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and is survived by his wife of 32 years, Joan Harner Helm; 3 children, Robert, Steve, and Kate; 2 sisters, Arlene Bell and Kathy Griffith; 2 step-daughters, Vicki Zeigler and Vonnie Mahon; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A private service will be held by his family. Memorial contributions may be made to The Brethren Home, 2990 Carlisle Pike, New Oxford, PA 17350. Arrangements by Cremation Society of PA, Inc.
