Rosalie Ann Sarfert

Rosalie A. “Rose” Sarfert, 86, of Hershey, PA passed away, Friday, December 27, 2024. Born July 31, 1938, in Coal Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Anna (Zalar) Milbrand. Rose was a graduate of Coal Township High School, Class of 1956, and the Reading Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1959. Following many years in private duty nursing, she was retired from the Wernersville State Hospital where she worked for over 11 years. She enjoyed working in her gardens and camping in State parks.

Surviving are her loving husband of 65 years, Bernard H. Sarfert, Sr.; 3 sons, Bernard H. Sarfert, Jr., Richard A. Sarfert (Amy), and Michael A. Sarfert (Geri); 5 grandchildren, Leanna Sarfert; Liesel (Josh) Tolentino and Zachery Sarfert; Callan Sarfert and Molly Sarfert; 1 great-granddaughter, Mila Basore; and brother, Wayne (Lois) Milbrand of Holland, Michigan.

A visitation will be held on Friday May 2, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, 88 Lucy Ave, in Hershey. A memorial service will immediately follow at 11:30 a.m.
