Born October 21, 1931, in Berkley Springs, WV, he was son of the late Morgan H. and Gladys (Lopp) Courtney.
Stanley enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an Army veteran having served during the Korean War. Stanley was also an employee for 14 years of the former Harrisburg Volkswagen Dealership on Paxton St., Harrisburg.
Surviving are his wife, Jill Courtney; 2 daughters, Diane Hornung and Mona Cook; a son, S. Keith Courtney; 2 sisters, Shirley Grant and Mary Lou; 2 granddaughters; one grandson; and 2 great-grandsons.
