Vernon "Buzz" Spangenberg

He was born February 15, 1944, in Corning, NY to the late Wilfred and Emma (Morse) Spangenberg.

Buzz's hobbies included being a Civil War re-enactor; hunting and fishing; and he very much enjoyed playing volleyball with his family.

Surviving are wife Janet Spangenberg; sons Craig (Deb) Spangenberg, Brett (Sarah) Spangenberg,; daughters Christine (Spangenberg) Petenbrink, Rebecca (Ray) Huffer; siblings Gail Spangenberg, Joan Barteau; John (Kathy) Spangenberg, Gordon (Laurie) Spangenberg, Kathy (Henry) Taylor, Nathan (Millie) Spangenberg, Natalie (Bob) DeWert, Phillip Spangenberg; 15 grandchildren; 9 great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Including his parents, preceding him in death are sister Harriet SueAnn DeCamp; brothers Laverne Spangenberg and Richard Spangenberg; and grandparents Gordon & Iva Morse.

A gathering will be held Friday, October 28, 2016 at 1:00pm at Bible Fellowship Church of Adams County, 895 Coleman Rd., Gettysburg, PA . A gathering will also be held on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 11:00am at 2325 Yawger Hill Rd., Bradford, NY with Pastor Harold DeCamp officiating.
