Virginia Adeline Mutschler

Virginia (Ginny) Adeline Mutschler, age 98, of Lewisburg, PA, passed away on 6/26/1926 at her home with family at her side. Virginia was born on 06/01/1926 in Lancaster, PA, the daughter of Ralph Sleppy and Charlotte (Cook) Sleppy.

Ginny was a graduate of Kutztown University with degree in education and taught 3rd grade in the Milton school district for over 30 years. She also taught Sunday school for many years at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lewisburg, PA. Ginny was a talented seamstress, knitter, baker, quilter and wood carver. She loved to bake and deliver her cookies and sticky buns to her neighbors. She loved spending her winters at Venture lll community in Jensen Beach, Florida.

Surviving are sons Gary (Sue) and John (Leslie) Mutschler, grandchildren Amy Bish (Tim), Brian Mutschler (Pam), Sadie Bailey (Jeff), and Ethan Mutschler (Jessica), Great grandchildren Emma Casey, Annabelle and Emerson Mutschler, Harrison and Adeline Mutschler and Simone Bailey. Ginny’s 2 sisters, Louise Gudikunst of California and Anne Ulmer of Florida, also survive.

Ginny was predeceased by her husband William I. Mutschler.

A memorial will be held at a later date in Florida according to Ginny’s wishes. In lieu of flowers, a donation could be made to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lewisburg, PA in Ginny’s memory.
