Surviving are his wife Virginia; five daughters, Nancy Stambaugh, Wanda Bross, Penny Durbin, Sherry Asper, Tracy Mulvaney and one son, Larry Hamm; brother, Donald Hamm; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Walter was the owner of Hamm's Excavation Company in Hampton, PA for over
50 year.
Services will be held at Harvest Time Temple Church, 700 Black Rock Road, Hanover, PA, on Friday, August 6, 2010, at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers family is asking that donations go to Aseracare Hospice, 44 Bowman Road, York, PA 17408.
