William "Bill" R. Adams

William R. "Bill" Adams, 84, passed away peacefully at the Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg, on Friday, March 29, 2013.

He was born in Pottsville, OA and resided in that area most of his life until moving to Millersburg with his wife, Lorraine in 2007. Bill was an avid horseman and drove a taxi for the Pottsville Cap Co. for many years before retiring.

Son of the late Roy E. "Jake" and Mary "Mae" (Jacoby) Adams, Bill was preceded in death by all of his brothers: Clarence "Dolly" Hagen, Robert "Bobby", John "Jack", Joseph "John", Charles "Pete", and Clyde "Butch" Adams; and sisters, Joanne "Nancy" Sedicino and Mary "Betty" Troy.

He is survived his wife, Lorraine V. (Brinich/Bair) Adams; two daughters, Cheryl A. and husband Allen L. Lebo of English Center and Denise E. and husband Kenneth L. Newman of Herndon; grandson Jeffrey A. and wife Terri E. Lebo of Schuylkill Haven; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2013, 3:00 p.m. at Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 252 Dock Street, Schuylkill Haven, PA. Family will receive friends at 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
