William S. Michaels Jr.

William S. Michaels Jr. "Butch" the storyteller, passed away on March 29,2025, Born on December 15,1942,he lived a life full of adventure and joy. Butch was a compassionate traveler and would go wherever the wind would take him but always sure to come back with incredible tales to share. In addition to his love for travel,he enjoyed playing poker and known for his skills at the pool table. His stories will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Butch was married to his wife Kitty Michaels until her passing on August 18,2020. After that he carried on with the only thing he knew, his truck and caring for his cat.

Surviving are his daughter's Flora Lauver,Kitty Fisher of Newport,Pa and son William Michaels of New Bloomfield, Pa.. Grandchildren Chandra Dieffenderfer, Koty Boyer,Jerry Straining of Newport,Pa., Nicholas Michaels,Hunter Michaels of New Bloomfield, Pa , Kavan Michaels, Kyle Michaels, Kara Michaels, Kay Michaels of Waynesboro,Pa. and Keely Michaels of New Oxford, Pa.Great Grandchildren Damian Lauver of Johnstown, Pa., Deshawna Dieffenderfer, Elizabeth Dieffenderfer, Cadence Dieffenderfer of Newport, Pa.. Great Great Grandchildren Ava,Ellen,Gideon,Laura of New Oxford, Pa. And Mekenna Lauver of Johnstown, Pa. and his sister's Jessie Nissel of Texas,Susan Michaels and Sherri Gully of Thompsontown, Pa.

In addition to his parents William S Michaels Sr. and Flora A Michaels is proceeded in death by his sister's Edna Mikos of Newberrytown,Pa. and Marilyn Harmon of New Oxford, Pa. and his son Larry Michaels of Newport, Pa. and his Grandson Dustin Lauver of Newport, Pa.
