William George Price

William, 87, died peacefully among close family on Wednesday, 5/22/24.

He was born in Burlington, VT on 3/23/37, but was a long time resident of Waynesboro, PA. He is predeceased by his wife Lorraine and his parents, Milford and Mildred Price.

He lived an amazing and full life. He was a Merchant Marine before enlisting in the U.S. Army in 1961. He was a decorated veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He traveled the world with duty assignments in Thailand, Germany, and Uruguay. He retired from active duty in 1987. He then went onto a career with the Department of Defense at the Pentagon and retired again after 16 years in 2005.

He is survived by his three daughters; Shirley Price, Laura (John) Miller, and Heather Marty. His grandchildren; Jason, Cory, Elizabeth, Jake, Dallas and Rebecca. Also a large extended family located around the world.

He will be greatly missed and always remembered as a strong, kind and loving man.

Funeral services will be held at a later date at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
