The Kiser family has very fond memories of Paul and Glenna. We were HBC members with them for many years. Our son, J. D. remembers Glenna very fondly as his preschool Sunday School teacher. Paul was Sunday School Director during much of the time that Jim and I worked in the Children's Division. They both were so supportive of all of us. Glenna could write the sweetest notes. We loved them dearly.
Our prayers are with you for God's peace and comfort during this sad time.
Jim, Susan, Christa and J.D. Kiser

Family and Friends of Paul Steagall,

Anne and I have known Paul and Glenna since we joined the Harrisonburg Baptist Church in 1987. Both of them were wonderful people and will be greatly missed.

I visited Glenna while she was at Sunnyside and continued to see Paul at his home after she passed away. He missed her very much and was looking forward to seeing her again in the next life. I am sure they are now reunited.

Anne and I will be remembering you in our prayers.

Sincerely,
Dale and Anne Wright

I remember when Dr. Steagall would visit his Son, Paul, in Florence, SC. I would talk to him many times about the University and the events in Virginia. He was always a cordial man.

Dear Steagall Family,

Please accept my sincere condolences for the passing of Paul. I first learned to know Paul while a representative for IBM, first meeting him in the Business Education Department at JMU. He was always a very friendly person and I enjoyed our friendship very much. I later learned that he knew my mother also a member of the Harrisonburg Baptist Church and she always spoke very highly of Paul. Paul was a fine individual and added a great deal to the Business Education Department at JMU. I will miss seeing Paul in and around Harrisonburg. He was always an asset to our community.

We have fond memories of Paul & Glenna at church and on our Plenti-nine trips. One fond memory is that he told us he would have a bowl of ice cream every night before he went to bed. We hope he is doing that now and Glenna is with him.
