My heart goes out to the Vos family, to experience this loss at such a difficult time. Humphrey and his family were such bright memories from childhood and He will be missed I’m certain. May you have peace with the remembrance of his warm smile and hugs...

I was so sorry to hear about Humphrey. He was very special to me and Dick and was so helpful when Dick died suddenly. Humphrey and Joyce were delightful together and did a lot of work on the Vos family history. They went to Holland and met kinfolks who in turn came to Shreveport to meet their extended family. Humprey will be missed and my deepest sympathy to Joyce, Betty Caroline and Judy. Bonnie Vos

My late husband Alvin and I were very good friends with Humphrey and Joyce when we went to church together in the late 60's and early 70's and remained friends throughout the years. I was deeply saddened to learn of Humphrey's death. He was a unique, very friendly person and a special friend. Love to Joyce and all his family. Love from Evelyn Thomas.

My cousin, Humphrey Eugene Vos, was one of the smartest, funniest people I have ever known. He was also kind & loving to his spoiled brat citified cousin, treating me as if I was very important. Whenever all the Lewellen/Vos/Hagen cousins got together, Humphrey was definitely a ringleader in finding mischief for us to accomplish. I'll miss you, precious man...but see you in heaven someday!
