Jo Ann and Kay were longtime teacher friends at Platt Elementary School. They did workshops together, and once went to a leadership conference in Northern Arkansas. They also played Pokeno together. Jo Ann introduced us to the Mudbug Hockey games, and we purchased season tickets. It was fun meeting Jo Ann and Kenzie there and watching the games together. Jo Ann wrote a poem for Kay and me, and read it at our 25th wedding anniversary party. They were special friends. We will remember them always.

OMG, where do I start? As the parent of a child in foster care, my son had Mrs. Seaman for 2 years as he had to repeat due to being behind coming from another district. She worked so hard to keep his moral up and she tirelessly taught him and succeeded. As a former youth director at Love Chapel Mrs. Seaman always supported our kiddos with all her heart. I still fondly remember when my husband stuck her zero turn lawn mower (which Ron had never driven) in her pond bank. As a SS teacher, she always had a funny story, advice or just a hug for me. I will forever remember her infectious laughter and shining smile! And her love of HER Mudbugs!

JoAnn was a rare individual. She was loved by so many people who's lives she touched in so many different ways. Thank you to her family for sharing her with us. She will be greatly missed. Her family will be in our thoughts and prayers for the difficult days ahead. May they find peace and comfort in knowing they do not grieve alone and my God place his arms around this family.

Mrs Seaman was a great teacher. My son John Michael had her and she was always one of his favorites. We saw her in the beauty shop a year or so ago and talked about him and his success and attributed some of that to her. She will be fondly remembered by us.
Will, I know that losing your mom has got to be hard. Praying for you all and your comfort during this difficult time.
