Carlota Alvarez, age 79, of Perris, CA, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013, in Moreno Valley, CA. She was born on Wednesday, March 8, 1933 in Jalisco, MX to the late Florentino Alvarez and the late Maria (Enciso) Alvarez. She was the loving wife of the late Jose Anaya for over 50 years. Carlota loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; teaching them the lessons of life. She was an avid gardener; she could always be found in her garden tending to her vegetables and roses.
Carlota was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jose Anaya; son, Jose Luis Anaya; brothers, Salvador Alvarez, Jesus Alvarez, Florentino Alvarez and sister, Maria Alvarez. Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Maria Enciso, Martha Villa, Ana Guzman, Antonio Anaya, Francisco Anaya, Ignacio Anaya and Modesta Anaya; 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
