On August 10, 2022, at seventy-nine years of age, Leetha departed physical life and began her eternal spiritual journey. Leetha was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota to Delores Charlotte Hallada and Ambrose Leroy Hallada. When she was a child, her parents moved to Riverside, California. She attended Poly High and Rubidoux High School. She moved to Hemet in 1975 and resided there at her passing.
Leetha spent over three decades in sales and owned her own furniture store, Furniture Expressions, for several years. She was a top salesperson wherever she worked because she connected to people of any age, social class, or culture. That connection with others and the world in general inspired her to write poetry, which was filled with creativity, sharp wit, and empathy. Her poetry is a treasured link to her heart and soul for the family and friends she left behind.
Leetha is survived by daughters, Tammy Shields-Beverage (John) of Hemet and Stephenie Shields-Sporcich (Nicholas) of Wildomar. She is survived by granddaughter Nichole Sporcich-MacDonald of Murrieta and grandsons Nathan Sporcich and Andrew Sporcich of Wildomar. She is also survived by her sister Patrice Hallada-Johnson of Hemet and nieces Michelle Johnson of Philadelphia and Danielle Johnson-Rifilato of San Jacinto. She is survived by her former spouse George Shields of Hemet.
