Joe served in the U.S. Naval Reserves for 5 years, until being called up for active duty where he was deployed for 2 years in Vietnam. He was a also loyal member of the American Legion. Later in life, Joe found his true passion by starting his own business with his wife, Dolores, helping others to manage pain through RTPR. He was such a sweet and kind person, that many people were attracted to him, resulting in the success of his business.
Joe was a beloved husband to his wife, Dolores Gabay-Bowyer, who were together for 25 wonderful years. Joe and Dolores were soul mates and best friends, who were lucky to have found each other; they completed each other. Joe loved visiting the casinos and playing the slots; and traveling, especially taking cruises. Joe loved his wife, was a loving father to his children and family; he will truly be remembered through our precious memories.
Joe is survived by his wife, Dolores; children: Debra Rockafellow, Jocelynne Starmer, Josette Kirby, Alan Bowyer, Thomas Bowyer, Shawn Bowyer, Lance Bowyer, and Jacob Bowyer; sister, Mary Lou Gills; brother, Robert Bowyer; grandchildren; great grandchildren, and many friends.
A graveside service for Joe will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 9:20 AM to 10:00 AM at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005.
