Sofia J. Lastra was born in Havana, Cuba on July 19, 1950 to parents Daniel and Cecilia Sofia departed this life on Friday, July 30, 2021, thus leaving behind many who will miss her greatly.
Sofia is remembered as a happy and loving person. She enjoyed fishing and cooking for everyone. Sofia got along with everyone she met. It did not matter who you were or where you were from. She loved having get-togethers and inviting everyone to come and have a good time. Her family remembers her as a person who loved music and who loved to dance!
So many things can be said about her but all can agree that she loved her family greatly!
Sofia is survived by her sons: Manuel, Francisco and her daughter Aymara. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grand-child that is on the way.
Sofia was preceded in death by her daughter Maydelia.
Sofia will be laid to rest on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 2:30 P.M. at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery, 11411 N.W. 25 Street, Doral, Florida, 33172.
