Robert Murphy “Bob” Hefner, 83, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Trinity Ridge in Hickory. He was born on May 11, 1937 to the late Murphy Roscoe Hefner and Rita Muriel Fagan Hefner in Catawba County. Survivors include his wife, Wilma Setzer Hefner of the home; daughter, Celeste Crump of the home; granddaughters, Alyssa Hull and husband Daniel of Hickory, Kylie Crump of the home; great grandchild, Charlotte Hull; sisters, Linda Trussell, Juley Ausmus; and numerous nieces and nephews. Honoring Bob’s wishes, no services will be held at this time. The family will be at the home for anyone who would like to visit.
