Stan's office was next to mine for 10 years at Brittain Engineering and we all enjoyed working with Stan. He was the "Gentleman from Virginia" and always had a laugh and a smile for everyone. He was easy to talk to and didn't get upset about much. Getting excited about things was JP's job. He was a good Mechanical Engineer and we missed him a great deal when he retired.
Due to COVID-19, I am unable to attend the gathering of friends this evening, but our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time with the loss of a dear friend, father and grandfather. He will not be forgotten and we will see him and JP again soon. Go in Christ name and with His blessings.

Stan and I worked together at Ingold Company when he came to Hickory. After that we worked together at Brittain Engineering designing HVAC systems. Stan certainly was very knowledgeable and we worked together for many years.
I am so sorry to hear of his passing as all of us here have fond memories of our work together.
Our Sincerest Condolences,
Don Brittain

I just remember Stan always coming in to the office with a smile. He supported "JP" Joyce in all her real estate endeavors. What a special man and a real Gentleman!
