So sad to hear of John's passing.......I knew him through Jimmy Arnaiz......he absolutely adored him; and  then of course so did I!!   My condolences to the family; especially to Robbin.......my cherished friend............holding you and yours in a very special place in my heart!!!!  XXX


How impossible it is to think of John no longer here. He was a wonderful man. I've heard so many stories through the years about him. I always think of the one where he flew through the air on his motorcycle years ago. Pat and I would laugh talking about him. He is a huge loss to all. My prayers are with you all during such a sad terrible time.

RIP Stickman, you are one funny and kind person, the nights hanging out on Sunrise were best, you will be missed, until we meet again, Abe.

Our memories of good times spent with all of you are numerous.  From flame throwing campfires to riding quads to launching rockets to a certain Clorox incident which we won't get into, being with John was always a "Blast".  John enjoyed life to it's fullest, never afraid to meet a challenge, take a chance, or to lend a helping hand.  He reached out to anyone who needed help, both old and young.  His generous guiding nature helped shape the lives of many a young person with his "Boystown" retreats.  John's broad smile and hardy spontaneous laugh will ring in our ears for many years to come and our affection for him will remain in our hearts forever.  Love, Janet, Lou, Tommy, Krissy, and Greg

To our dearest friends the Friedbergs, & the whole Foster family that we have had the privilege of being “part of” for 30yrs.,
Our hearts are broken along with yours by John’s tragic loss.  It is just impossible to accept.  Recently, he was a kind, reliable helper to Carli at the cottage, & on Stonehurst Lane, when he did work at our house in the autumn, he taught me that the crows flew over the yard at 5pm! That’s such a perfect picture of who he was.  He will remain a lasting part of so many of our homes that he made better with his exceptional talents.  We will all glance at one of the projects he did for us, admire it, marvel at it, & it will make him live on with all of us forever.

Heidi words can not express how my heart breaks for you. I am so sorry for your loss. you guys will always have your hearts connected. I am so grateful  I had the opportunity to meet and become friends with the both of you. I will always be here for you.  stay strong   Love always Jackie Venezia


Our sincerest condolences go out to the entire Foster family during this most difficult time of grief and sudden loss.  John was a good, hard working family man who never had an unkind  word to say of anyone.  We were both blessed with his friendship since childhood, and later in life enjoyed many family parties and celebrations through the marriage of our families.   We will always carry with us many happy memories.   John also remodeled our kitchen, dining room, bathroom and several other home improvements, and his work was impeccable.  May God bless him always in Heaven.  He will be sorely missed.
