Glenda J. Mounts

Glenda J. Mounts of Hammond, IN, born March 26, 1922, passed away June 6, 2019, preceded in death by husband Delmar R. Mounts l, and sons, Delmar R. Mounts ll and Douglas M. Mounts, son-in-law Ernest Johnson, also survived by daughter Patricia J. (Ernest) Johnson, and daughter-in-law Vicky, 10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 13, 2019, 11:30 AM at Kuiper Funeral Home 9039 Kleinman Rd (two blocks south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN. Rev. Ron Richmond will be officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Glenda worked and retired from Goldblatts Department Store where she worked in the men’s department for 20 years. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and teaching ceramics. She attended the Church of Christ in Gary Indiana (Black Oak). In her younger years, she was a Cub Scout leader and loved helping with childcare at church.
