We wish that we could have spent more time with Elmer. The short time we had together he told us many stories about his life. We will miss him very much.

Grandpa- I love you and I thank you for being the man that you were to me and our family. I feel selfish for missing you but I'm grateful that you're with Grandma again. Not everybody can say that they were beer drinking buddies with their grandparents. I'm so thankful that before you did go, that I gave you your last party. Just you and I drinking a beer and having pizza is the memory that I want to hold onto for the rest of my life. There are so many more but that's the dearest to me. When you didn't want to let go of my hand, I would have never let go if I would've known just a few weeks later you'd be gone. Thank you for everything and being such a wonderful man that stepped up and took the reins on being what a perfect Grandpa should be. I love you and I'm thankful that you're not lonely anymore I'll see you one day again and you'll have a huge smile on Your face xo I love you
