I am saddened at the loss of such a wonderful woman! She always took time to talk to anyone who sometimes just needed an ear without any judgement. She was so talented in everything she did! I wish I had 1/8 of her talents. She was such a loving person! I was blessed for having her as an aunt. You may be gone from Earth but you will live on in many hearts! May you Rest In Peace!

I have alot of fond memories but the first has to be the first time we met. Lora had a wet jet do ride around the lake so we went out one time with me driving with both of us on it and i had us coming into the bay going back to the house full speed and decided to turn 90 degrees , needless to say we flew off and my heel hit lora in the ear popping her ear drum and when i hit the water it knocked the wind out of me. Jackie was watching from the beach and got the boat and ended up pulling me in with a pole she had in the boat. What a first impression. Thanks for the memories rest in peace jackie alway in my thoughts.

Sorry to find out that Jacki e passed. I have lots of memories of playing cards with her, her out fishing, helped me after surgery. Almost always had a smile, a bad joke. And her artistic talents when she made us coats when Jeff and I had a company. Rest In Peace, you’ll be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs Tonegatto passing. I understand the last year or so has been difficult for her so I know she is at peace now. Growing up with Lora I had the privilege to know Mrs T. She had a happy spirit and a good sense of humor. She would let us play freely and seemed to enjoy our Shenanigans! Sometimes she gave us the ideas! When I was getting married she offered to make my wedding cake. She asked what I wanted. I told her that I trusted her and her talent and to surprise me. The cake was beautiful! Fresh flowers in a small glass container on top spilling down to icing ones on the cake. It was lovely and she made me feel so special. Mrs T did that for a lot of people. May you Rest In Peace and May I see you again. Love, Caren

My mom meant the world to me, we may have occasionally had our differences. But she was such a blessing, and I thank God he chose her to be my mother. She helped me through many challenges throughout my life. The toughest was having my first son, being young I hadn't a clue, and she was there to guide me on the road to being a mother. My eldest came 7 short months after mom lost her own child. That was the first time I understood that everything does happen for a reason. I do believe that my eldest help to ease the pain mom had from the loss of my sister Suzy. I will cherish all the wonderful memories, and some of those not so good ones as well, for they have all made me whom I am. I will miss her dearly everyday that I remain on this earth.

Love you with all my heart mom, your baby girl.

A Little Thankyou note for you, Mom
from your daughter, Kathleinne
Life is a gift. I've heard it said that what we do with that gift of life is our little thankyou note to heaven.
Mom, I believe heaven is pleased with your little thankyou note.
Life is a gift that keeps on giving, if we hold love in our hearts and open our arms to those we meet. Mom, you did just that.
You gave freely of your creativity. I remember you working tirelessly on projects for us kids, for relatives, friends, your church...decorating cakes, sewing, painting...
Thankyou for showing me how to be generous.
Mom, you touched so many hearts lecturing here at Holy Spirit Church. You always told a story with feeling. You were well loved for this. You stirred the souls of many with your Artwork of Christ's Passion on display here near the Adoration Chapel. I heard of how viewers were moved to tears. You truly loved your God.
At St Pat's on the Video Team with Dad was one great mission. So often people who are no longer able to attend church are forgotten but you remembered them. You even took the time to deliver those VHS tapes to Nursing Homes.
Mom, you gave us kids many good childhood memories. You gave us the freedom to be children and have fun. You gave us the gift of "What if?" You knew how to use your imagination and taught us well.
You put a smile on lots of faces with your cute gestures and expressions... well, maybe some not so cute... I love that you always had a song in your heart. "I love you a bushel and a peck" & "You are my sunshine" are etched on my heart. I am glad we got to share your love of music. Our singalongs, Joe at the piano, playing your favorite tunes. You never forgot any of those words.
But, mostly thankyou for your gift of allowing me to be your friend & caretaker. This last year and a half you have surely out given me. So many precious memories. You did heaven proud with a life well lived. God must be beaming over your little thankyou note.

Our hearts broke when we learned of the passing of "Mz. Jackie." Jackie came into our lives in 2001. She was like a third grandmother to our son. In fact, Jackie & Frank were the third set of grandparents of Antonio. Jackie and Frank showered Antonio with love.

Jackie ruled the house with a firm, but very loving hand. We were in awe of her artistic and creative abilities. Even though Jackie has not had to take care of Antonio for years now, we still feel her presence in our house every day. So many paintings on the walls by Jackie, so many items organized and labelled by Jackie, a huge picture book Jackie made for Antonio sits by our fireplace, and the list goes on.

Jackie, thank you for everything you did for and the love you shared with my family. God, thank you for blessing our family with Jackie! We love you will all our hearts! We miss you dearly!
Rest in Peace, Mz. Jackie.

There are many memories that are etched into my Heart about Miss Jackie. The most important to me is her commitment to God and every day living her Life about Faith, Family and Friends.

Her drive was second to none. For 14 years I witnessed her dedication to Antonio because I was working from home and she was either picking him up from school or hanging out with him in the house. There were special moments when she would jump in the pool with him, or go outside helping him ride a bike. She protected him from many things.

Couple other Miss Jackie things:

It was known in the school and in the neighborhood if you messed with my boy, you messed with Miss Jackie. Nobody wanted to get under her skin. She was the protector of him and the house. Don’t Mess with Jackie!

I always would buy groceries, so I would talk to her on what we needed in the house. The first time we did this she told me to buy some very ripe bananas. That day she made the most wonderful Banana bread in the world. Antonio and I ate the whole cake. For the next ten years I would always buy old bananas. It was the best! Her cooking was the Best.

My Birthday was November 15th. For those who Hunt like I do, it’s a Holiday. Every Year I received a Birthday card from her. She would draw everything out! It was amazing. Many of them are on the wall at my cabin. It was the extra things she did to make people happy.

In Closing the most difficult moment of my life was when I first met her. I know She went through a lot with the passing of Tony and Susie. She was just three months into watching Antonio and I told her I had Colon Cancer. I was distraught and I new she was upset. But she comforted me by just saying to pray, and we will get through this together. I prayed so much, and all I asked God was to give me a chance to raise my son, and let him have a Father. Not only did God grant me that prayer but he gave us a special gift in Miss Jackie.

So many memories ..Love You Miss Jackie RIP

Mom loved her work of Nanny to Antonio Popp. She was very proud of him and so thrilled when he asked her to be his sponsor at his Confirmation. Antonio and his family were a great joy to her.
