She was born in Chattanooga, TN to the late Wade and Lois Travis Fisher. Alice was retired from Erlanger Medical Center. She was a member Silverdale Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Joseph Barnes; son Michael Dyar; and a sister, Norma Walker.
Alice is survived by her life partner of 15 years, Glen “Jack” Weaver; son, Phillip Gregory Dyar; granddaughter, Ferris (Kenny) McCurry; great grandchildren, Jacob Dale, Scarlett Faith, and Alice Sage McCurry; sister, Iris Tapley.
The family will receive friends from 11 am till 1 pm on Monday, October 26, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Alice will follow at 1 pm on Monday, at the North Chapel with Deacon Leonard Villalpando officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
