I worked side by side with Roy for several years. He was highly respected by the entire organization. Roy was quiet spoken always voicing the opinion of reason and fairness. He was certainly a role model for me.

I was Roy's manager for several years when he served as Chattanooga Site Engineering Manager for the nylon business. Roy was an excellent engineer and leader. He always worked to balance conflicting views and priorities to accomplish business and site objectives. He had a "can-do" personality and approach, and was a calming influence, particularly when needs and desires exceeded budgets and affordability. It was an honor and privilege to have known and work with Roy.
