Agnes was a charter member of Shekinah Revival Ministries, formerly known as Faith Christian Center. She also attended Rose Park Baptist Church, with her second husband, Herbert Hawbecker. After becoming a widow in 1981, Agnes made a commitment to her Lord to “do whatever you want me to do, and go wherever you want me to go.” This led to mission trips and speaking engagements all around the world. Agnes was preceded in death by her first husband, Pastor T.W. French, second husband, Herbert Hawbecker, son Donley French, and son Dennis French.
She is survived by her son Pastor Larry and Eva French of Zeeland, 6 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and brother and sister-in-law Glen and Sherril French of Muskegon.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 6 at Shekinah Revival Ministries, 1941 Washington Ave., in Holland. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Pastor Clif White and Pastor Larry French will officiate. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Muskegon, MI.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to New Harvest Ministries or Shekinah Revival Ministries Missions.
